5 Iconic Celebrity Wedding Looks

Is it just me, or does it seem like there has been an extraordinary amount of celebrity weddings lately? Considering the number of star-studded nuptials this year, it may even be appropriate to deem 2014 as the year of romance. Luckily for the rest of us, celebrity weddings serve as a bountiful source of bridal inspiration. While you may not be able to afford a custom-made designer gown, you can definitely tease apart the details you adore and make them your own. Today, we’re sharing five celebrity wedding looks that have made our hearts skip a beat or two! Which one will inspire you?

Lauren Conrad’s California-Chic Look Can anyone doubt Lauren Conrad’s style prowess? This California native has come a long way since her Laguna Beach days, but if there’s one thing about Lauren Conrad that has stayed constant throughout the years, it’s her impeccably laid-back yet classic style. At her rustic California winery wedding, Conrad wowed guests in a gown by Badgley Mischka—a two-tone ivory Chantilly lace number featuring tiny crystal, pearl, and bead embellishments. A 10-foot train secured by a crystal-studded headpiece adorned her signature loose curls.

Emily Maynard’s Fairytale LookEmily Maynard, now Emily Johnson, is a Bachelorette no more! This former reality star’s wedding ensemble tickles the little girl in all of us. At her surprise wedding, Maynard looked every bit the princess in a strapless gown complete with a white tulle skirt, a detailed bodice with a sweetheart neckline, and a blush pink sash around her waist. With her hair swept to the side and a bouquet of peonies in hand, Emily Maynard was literally glowing in her wedding photos! It seems that she really embraced the intimate, outdoor wedding trend.

Kim Kardashian’s Haute Look We can’t talk about weddings in 2014 without mentioning the Kimye wedding, can we? The ultra-famous couple spared no expense at their weekend wedding in Florence, Italy. After months of rumors and speculations about Kim’s wedding day look, Kim finally stepped out on the aisle in a custom-made Givenchy gown. The mermaid style gown accentuated Kim’s figure with delicate lace sleeves, high neckline, and sheer panels along her sides and back. Her hair was simply parted down the middle and was covered by a cathedral length veil.

Olivia Palermo’s Effortless Look Olivia Palermo—socialite, blogger, and style icon—takes “traditional” and throws it out the window with her wedding look. Palermo took Hollywood and the fashion world by surprise (a delightful one, no doubt) when she debuted her three-piece wedding dress. Sticking to her preppy, sophisticated style roots, Palermo picked out a lovely combination of a light cashmere sweater and an airy tulle skirt worn over a pair of shorts. Her hair was pulled into a low ponytail and her jewelry was limited to a simple pair of earrings and a bracelet. Her “something blue,” a favorite pair of blue pumps, channeled Carrie Bradshaw.

Ashley Tisdale’s Boho Look Last but not least, Ashley Tisdale’s boho look is taken right out of everyone’s dream wedding Pinterest board. Judging by her Instagram photos, it seems that Tisdale had two wedding day outfits. The first is a simple capped-sleeve dress with a ball gown skirt. The second, a gorgeous mermaid gown from Monique Lhuillier, features whimsical capped sleeves as well. Both looks are paired with a classic boho flower crown made from baby’s breath. What’s not to love?
